Dear CSL Community:
It is with great pleasure that I announce the hiring of our Onondaga Unit Head, Jane Tuszynski! Jane is very familiar with CSL, as this summer will mark her tenth consecutive year with us. Jane first arrived on scene for her oldest Onondaga summer has been a mainstay in our community ever since. Jane has already been a staff member several times over, and was most recently the Assistant Unit Head for Onondaga last summer. Jane brings with her a passion for everything Onondaga, and I am sure she has her eyes on Onondaga’s first Fight Song victory in July.
Jane hails from the lovely state of Maryland and is the oldest of three Tuszynski kids that attend CSL. During her non-CSL months, she is an undergraduate at the University of Chicago studying philosophy and sociology.
Here are her thoughts on leading the girls of Onondaga this summer. "I am beyond excited to be returning home to Onondaga this summer! Onondaga is a village so full of life: the campers remind us lucky Onondaga counselors everyday how to laugh even while struggling on the walk up from the waterfront to lunch. Our village is full of such spirited and clever girls, and I am so excited to hang out with Onondagan campers and staff, new and old. See you in a few quick months!"
CSL, our staff, and the Big-O should be psyched for having Jane as their Unit Head in 2015.
