Dear CSL Community:
It is with great pleasure that I announce the hiring of TWO Cayuga Unit Heads for CSL 2015. Both the present and future will be on display as Alec Jacobson returns to run the “Uge” for Session I and will then hand the keys off to Logan Amstey who will become the Cayuga Unit Head for Session II. Both Alec and Logan have plenty of Cayuga experience between them. Not to mention that in 2014, Alec was the UH all summer, and Logan his AUH. Together, they not only make Cayuga one of the most exciting villages for next summer, but also one of the most capable. We could not be happier to have them both lead the Pine Tree Village this summer.
Alec hails from Pittsford, NY and upon his graduation from Syracuse University later this school year; he will begin medical school in August 2015. Here’s hoping he becomes one of our camp doctors in the future!
Logan calls Camp home (obviously), but did spend his non CSL time in Rochester, NY. Logan now attends the University of Tampa and is looking forward to spending his spring semester studying in Florence, Italy. He has invited all Cayugans to visit him during February recess.
So, are Alec and Logan ready for the summer? You be the judge. Here is what they had to say. Alec: "I could not be more excited to return to the 'Uge and continue to build upon what we established there last summer. The campers and staff of Cayuga really brought the energy and excitement last summer, and I am pumped to get to work with all of them again and create a truly special brotherhood. The 'Uge is home to some of my fondest summer memories, and to be able to return there for July really is a dream come true. Get excited, Cayuga!" Logan: "I am so ecstatic to come back to the Uge this summer! It was wonderful working under Alec last summer and I cannot wait to spend 2015 with him in July. August is going to be exciting as CUH and I am glad I have been given the opportunity to lead the village I love!"
CSL and Cayuga should be pumped to have Alec and Logan as their leaders in 2015.
All the Best,
Aaron Cantor, Director
