As I have written to a bit over the last few months, the Programming Office will be evolving in Summer 2015 to try and best meet the needs of the evolving CSL. A significant portion of those changes are the specificity of each individual’s responsibilities within the camp program. Included among the key areas of course are programs themselves, specifically those within villages and each evening. So a group of incredible individuals has been assembled who will be overseeing this especially creative component of the CSL experience.
Max Krieger will head up Village and Evening Programs. Max returns to Programming after three summers as a Unit Head, two in Cayuga and one in Mohawk. He served on the Programming Staff from 2008-2011 prior and has spent nearly every summer of his life at CSL. These things all combine to make him an incredible fit to oversee this area of the camp program. Max is pursuing his masters in education.
Joining Max in this area are CSL natives Jordyn Kaufman and David Schram. Jordyn comes to Programming full time after several years of myriad contributions across various programs, from Hobby Leader to PUP extraordinaire. David has been at camp on and off but has worked as a Mohawk counselor and as a major guest contributor during Color War 8. Jordyn and David are both Western New York undgerads, the former at R.I.T. and the latter at University of Buffalo.
Operations – Erin Fauer
Field Operations – Jacob McKinney
Program Areas & Hobbies – Neil Pickus, Rachel Philipson
Media – Cameron Robinson
This trio joins a nearly-complete Programming staff with just a couple of media positions and Judaica still to be filled! It must mean that camp is getting closer.
See You Soon,
Ari Baum, Associate Director
