It is with great pleasure that I announce the
appointment of Matt Jevotovsky as Tuscarora Unit Head for Summer 2015. Matt has
a long history at CSL, growing up there as a camper and eventually being a Tusc
camper himself in 2005. He was a counselor in Mohawk from 2007-2010 and then
moved on to Tusc in the summers of 2011 and 2012. The “real world” called and
after graduating from the University of Maryland, Matt moved into the world of
Marketing in New York City. After two years doing that, Matt found himself back
at CSL in 2014 as Associate Program Director.
Matt has talked for years not just of being Tusc
Unit Head but specifically being Tusc 2015 Unit Head. He has a strong affinity
for this particular group coming in but also a deep passion for the Tusc
experience built during his two years as a counselor there. And now the CSL
staff is primarily made up of those Tusc 2011 and 2012 campers, bringing added
excitement to Matt being able to return in 2015.
In the days since his appointment, Matt has jumped
right in, actively engaging in the hiring process for Tusc counselors. He is
certainly excited about the upcoming opportunity: “I can’t wait to get back to
work in Tuscarora, the place of my most cherished moments at CSL. Seniors
Campers have the opportunity to make the unimaginable become reality – a
reality that brings out the very best in everyone it touches. I look forward to
helping provide a foundation for exceeding expectations and mind-blowing
memories.”
