Dear CSL Community:
Just last Sunday we introduced our first official hire for
2015, and now it is time to follow that up with our second. It is with great
pride that we announce the return of Josh Sham to our team for 2015. Josh will return as our Staff Director,
and will be a tremendous resource to the entire staff. Josh has a long history at CSL, prior
to serving as the Staff Director, he was part of the LIT staff team in 2011 and
was our Tuscarora Unit Head in 2012 and 2013.
Josh is a native of Rochester who graduated with a Bachelor’s
degree from the University of Buffalo and a Masters of Science Education from
Syracuse University. Josh has held
a few teaching jobs and is has been teaching at the Peddie School, a boarding school
in NJ, for the past three years.
In addition, Josh coaches soccer and tennis and is the dorm parent for over
30 freshman boys.
"As you get older it becomes increasingly more difficult
to return to camp. I am lucky enough to be in the position to return once
again, and I am excited to see what new challenges the summer of 2015 will
bring. Camp has always been an integral part of my life, and it was my
time as a camper that led me to come back year after year. I am looking
forward to working with CSL’s incredible staff, and helping them to provide an
invaluable camper experience."
CSL and our staff are privileged to have Josh as our Staff
Director in 2015.
