Yesterday was very relaxing, we started off our day with breakfast that was brought to us in the village! It consisted of bagels and cereal. As Fight Song is coming around the corner, we practiced our songs which all sounded great! Everybody caught on quickly and hopefully Seneca can take home the gold again this year.
Then, we had morning services at the Golden View; a service area which campers built last summer. It was a very nice service. Lunch followed and later that afternoon we had discussion group. I, being in S3, had a discussion group with all of middle Seneca and Mohawk. We discussed anti-semintism by sharing personal ancedotes of difficult situations we've all encountered. It made everyone realize how Jews are really treated, but also helped us understand the right ways to react to these actions or comments.
As the day continued on, we had Shabbat Choice. My friends and I participated in athletics, while some girls in our bunk did yoga or pool. At night we had Havdallah and a campfire with our Mischpacha.
Seneca counslors finished off the night by breaking SSL!! We are all on different teams that are countries. I'm on Croatia, the blue team. It was a rally great day, and I can't wait for more!!!
