Stories With Seneca

What's up, CSL! I'm back with more updates about the July session so far.

Yesterday was a relaxing day in Seneca, as we started with bagels in the village followed by a little Fight Song prep. All the girls were so into it, despite the heat and soreness from the CSL Run on Friday. Afterwards, we all headed to the Golden View for services, and had a song session with Izzi at the benches. The afternoon was relaxing and sweet, thanks to a yummy Shabbat treat earned through Shabbat clap!

Last night, as I'm sure you read, was village night, where we all got to "travel" around the world and learn things about a few different countries. It was great to see the girls so engaged in the activity, and all the staff were so proud of them for stepping out of their comfort zone and participating in seemingly strange activities, like salsa dancing.

It's crazy how fast this session is going, but at the same time it feels like we've been here forever. The girls have completely immersed themselves into the camp experience, and have dedicated themselves to Seneca and being the best they can be.

This morning, we had a great family breakfast in the dining hall with our mishpacha's, and got the opportunity to dance and sing to get our day started. It's definitely going to be a fantastic day, and I will be back with more updates later, so stay tuned!!

Lots of Seneca love,
Jilli Underberg, S2 Counselor
