WELCOME TO THE CSL SUMMER BLOG

CSL Families,

Welcome to the CSL Summer 2012 Blog. Through out the summer this blog will act as a direct connection between you and Camp Seneca Lake. On a daily basis, all villages, specialty areas, hobby groups as well as other staff  members and campers at Camp Seneca Lake will be posting to the blog keeping you up-to-date on the current events at CSL. Continue to follow the blog through out the summer, and be on the look-out for current pictures and posts to remain connected to Camp Seneca Lake and its campers.

Today marks the first day of the 2012 August session. CSL counselors and staff members are waiting anxiously for campers to begin arriving. Once the buses have arrived and the parents have dropped off the campers we will enjoy a lunch full of quesadillas and dancing to some great tunes in the Dining Hall. The campers will then travel to the different areas of camp where they will receive a swim test, a waterfront orientation and be given a camp t-shirt and bunk picture. Later tonight, campers will spend time with their villages for the evening program and then be introduced to the entire camp staff at opening ceremonies in the fire circle.

Remember to check the blog for continuous updates in the form of blog posts and pictures from village and specialty are bloggers in order to stay updated on all the fun the campers will be having on the first day and through out the session.
