Although we were fearful of inclement weather, we ended up having a very successful culmination to our July hobby session. Every camper in the hobby group now not only has the ability to get up but also almost all are able to get both in and out of the wake, too! At the end of each session we give out an award titled the 'Holtzman/Frank Award for waterskiing Excellence' to a camper who shows tremendous improvement throughout the session and is constantly pushing him/herself to further improve their skills. This session Bayley Weinstein was given this award as she went through all of the levels of skiing from regular two skiing to lifting and dropping a ski to finally getting up on one ski. Congratulations again to Bayley!
As a CSL Ski Coach I am thrilled with the success of the campers this session and look forward to working with them to further their skills in future sessions and summers!
