Yesterday was the first day of our Seneca Soccer League: 2.0! The girls were all extremely excited to play their first game. They played 8 minutes halves, and in that time there were many goals scored.
Each and every girl had awesome sportsmanship. I had numerous girls come up to me at the end of the SSL period asking when they get to play again! One youngest Senecan was even quoted as saying, "this has been my favorite period so far, when are we doing this again!?"
It's so nice to see the girls be competitive in a respectful and fun way, and it'sreally special to see them working together toward a common goal of winning the championship.
