What's good LIT's?

Today we went on a white water rafting adventure in Watertown, NY. I was really apprehensive at first because of the release form we had to sign beforehand, but as we went through the rapids, I got soaked and had the time of my life! We went over 8 sets of rapids, from Knife's Edge all the way down to Decapitation Station! There were a few calm points when we got to jump out of the rafts and swim in the water. I rolled on my back, and let the current take me down the river. After the brief swim sesh, we climbed back into our rafts and continued down the stream. As we were coming close to the last few drops,  our guide asked if anyone else wanted to move to the front (the splash zone), and go face first into the rushing water. I knew this was a once in a lifetime opportunity, so I climbed to the front of the raft, and braced myself for impact at the Decapitation Station! It was insane! I got water up my nose, and in my eyes and mouth, but I didn't care at all, I had a blast! After got back to the rafting shop, we had a delicious barbeque on the deck out by the water. All in all, this was an amazing day and I'm so happy I got the chance to experience it with my fellow LITs and our staff!
