Mohawk Moments

Last night Mohawk saw some of the most innovative bunk nights that CSL has seen this summer. Bunk nights are a time when each cabin spends time doing an activity that they do not ordinarily get to participate in. M1 took their bunk to the pool area and utilized the two tennis ball machine launchers to have their cabin compete in a ball retrieval game where campers had to compete to get balls in certain buckets while other campers played defense.

M3 had to rescue counselor Alec Leve from the middle of the lake as he was stranded. Once rescued, the bunk had a food party in the fire circle. The other middle Mohawk bunk, M4, played a game of actual pool except that they played with dodgeballs and soccer balls rather than miniature pool balls. Campers played eight ball and they had to hit the cue ball with their leg or a baseball bat and try to get balls in the pockets that were made using benches from the o Rec.

Lastly, the Oldest Mohawk staff constructed a really cool game of Kan Jam in the water using garbage cans and wood as a base for campers to stand on. Campers had to throw the frisbee to their partner on the other base and then the other partner had to try and tap the frisbee in their can. I posted some pictures on our twitter at Mohawk20121. Our staff continue to work hard and the campers continue to behave in such a matter that makes the staff want to do more and more special things for them.
