This afternoon Tuscarora 2014 completed our triathlon. All of us were absolutely incredible and so supportive of each other. With every heat there were senior campers as well as staff and younger campers cheering the participants on. Tuscarorans with siblings at camp were especially lucky because those siblings motivated them all the way to the end. My own sister was helping me through every event. She counted my laps, prepared my shoes for the transition from swimming to biking, and she, along with my brother and some fellow Tuscarorans, ran with me the entire way. I was the very last person in Tusc to finish the triathlon. As I crossed the finish line everyone was cheering me on and I felt like I was on top of the world. This made me appreciate all of the people around me at camp and I am so thankful for them. After I cooled down my counselor Erin and I just hugged eachother and cried. She ran with me for every training session so culminating a huge part of tusc made us so emotional. I'm sure were all going to be laughing and crying our way through the rest of the summer. Thank you to everyone involved in tusc 2014, you are all so awesome.
