Stories With Seneca

Yesterday was Middle Seneca's annual campout! But instead of any old campout, the Tiyulim staff planned an exciting canoe trip to Sampson State Park. The girls were excited and up for the challenge. They packed all their luggage in Dry Bags, and tied them into the canoes. We all paddled across Seneca Lake to a beautiful beach park where we had a picnic lunch packed by the Tiyulim staff (yum!).

The clouds had cleared up as we made our way back to the boats. S3 and S4 paddled and rocked the two huge war canoes. However, the girls had to turn around on their 6 mile canoe trip due to the weather. So instead of a campOUT, Middle Seneca is having a campIN! We all slept in the M-Field, cooked our own dinner and of course, made some great s'mores. The girls were singing and cheering the entire time, even through the heat!
