The Cayugans found out about it by walking into their cabins to the surprise of their big brothers being inside waiting for them. The big brothers and big sisters then sat with their little siblings at dinner and got to know each other very well. After dinner, they spent some time at three different stations.
At one, they played various games involving keeping waterballoons intact. At another, they had a motor boat ride, and at the last one they had an obstacle course that all three family members had to go through. After all the groups had seen all the stations, the top four teams competed at the obstacle course. The program then concluded in a cheer battle with the Onondagas and older sisters in the fire circle.
The program was fun for me because I remember when I was in Tuscarora, I had a really good time with my little brothers. They continued to sit with me at meals long after the program, and it added a lot of meaning to my experience. Today I saw one of my little brothers with little brothers of his own, which was fun because it reminded me of the way camp repeats itself. Sometimes you get caught up in dealing with the day to day drama of camp, but something like that can put everything into perspective.
