Hello CSL! I am Jamie and this is my 3rd summer being here in Seneca. It is so crazy how time flies. It truly feels like last week that I was driving up Camp Road about to leave for the summer, and now, here we are again getting ready to start yet another summer!
I would just like to start out by saying how excited I am for camp to start. It has been a crazy couple of days here in Seneca as we prepare for the arrival of our campers, but we just can't wait until the village is complete and even more full of life.
Here in Seneca, we spent last night talking a lot about our own personal goals and our goals for the village as a whole. Following our discussion, we joined the rest of the CSL staff and learned how to make guacamole as well as how to salsa dance. Let me tell you: the S staff is full of expert salsa dancers, so you can expect many dance parties coming your way... Not to mention some killer chips and salsa parties.
After a great staff program, we spent most of today back in Seneca doing some more planning for the summer. We are all so excited to see what this session has in store for us, and are so pumped that we get to share our programs with you so soon!
I can't wait to meet everyone!
