Each team has now played each other 2 times and the season is nearing it's end. Coming into the playoffs, it truly could be anyone's season. The loss of the two weekers really hit some teams hard, as expected, but those teams still seem to be pushing strong. The only 5 man team that includes the Owen /Allen duo is a force that can seem unstoppable, even with such few players. Our next CHL period will begin the playoffs, and our final period will be the dramatic finally to one of the better CHL seasons to grace the courts of Camp Seneca Lake.
I can't help but think about the August session and how to improve the league. We have dabbled with the idea of games under the lights and I think this idea will become a reality for this next session. As well, we began playing some games in the O-Rec. With the O-Rec's concrete floors, the ball moved faster which caused more plays during the game and higher final scores. Definitely will be returning to the O-Rec for August.
Everyone is waiting to see who is going to the finals and I'll be reporting as soon as that clock clicks down, and the season comes to an end.
