The Tusc Tell-All

After waking up on the hard ground of our camping tents on the m-field, the first day of Tusc 2014 began. Starting with table setting at 7 am, we were all exhausted from the night before however when the music started playing we were all full of life. Breakfast was the camp favorite, French toast sticks  which started us off to a great day. Moving into morning periods we had tikkun Olam with the whole village, in which we walked around camp and observed various activities. What we did will be used later to help us decide what projects to do around camp later in the summer. Of course lunch was a dance party as it always is with grilled cheese to get everyone in the mood. Rest hour was short as we were getting ready for water front in the afternoon. Once we were at the waterfront we were divided into three groups which rotated between waterskiing, sailing and canoeing. After general swim we went back to the village to prepare for dinner. Dinner was unusual in the fact that we were split into "families" that included members from every village. We ate together, and spent the evening program together bonding and creating a family history. Finally when it began to get dark we headed back to the village for a night of learning cheers and songs around the campfire.
As it may seem this day was tiring and sweaty, but as Tusc we made the best out of the whole day.

We can't wait for what's in store for Tuscarora 2014!!!!
