Today the campers got to experience the first 'normal' camp day of CSL 2014, however, most days at camp are anything but normal. We started our day by cooling off in the pool. We had our first swim lessons followed by a playful free swim! After cooling down in the pool we got our sweat on again in the gaga pit where we enjoyed a competitive yet fun game! I was really impressed with O-5s gaga skills, I think every camper was better than me!! After working up an appetite playing gaga we headed over to the dining hall and indulged in one of our favorite camp meals: GRILLED CHEESE!!!! After our busy morning we enjoyed a little down time during rest hour and finished unpacking! Our cabin finally looks like a real bunk as it is now filled with trunks, clothes, made beds, and best of all campers!!! This afternoon we went to the craft shack and hung out with Jilly, Jared, and our own counselor Allison! We love the A&C staff!! The first day at A&C always consists of contributing to an all camp project (followed by boondoggle if we are good)!! For this summers camp project we made paper hands. It will be nice to see all the paper  hands together once the project is complete. After A&C we enjoyed learning about Israel at our Israeli culture period followed by playing sing games with Izzi at the benches! We are now getting ready to go to dinner followed by our evening activity which is always a surprise to the campers, so you'll have to check in with us later to hear how that plays out! So far O-5 is off to a great start and we can't wait to share more!!
