Color War 6

The most amazing two days take place in August: Color War. A lot of work goes into it before the program starts. Friday morning the LITs had different tasks such as filling water balloons (about 5000), and transporting 40 cinder blocks. On Saturday afternoon, Tusc found out about Color War by watching what they thought was Pirates of the Caribbean. In the middle of it Ari came onto the screen and the campers names came flashing across in their color. At night, all bunks were paired up to perform a dance to a song  for the CSL TV evening program. Once it was dark, Tusc entered through the forest wearing glow in the dark masks. The team captains gave each camper 3 glow sticks to show their color. When the  illumination event  started, there were glow sticks spread out across the M-field. Campers had to pick up their team color and put it in a bin or throw them onto sticks that were set up in a circle. All of camp was extremely excited. You could tell by the screaming and the face expressions. Everybody went back to their villages to get some sleep for the next few exciting days!
