Staci Hiller joins the 2014 Staff

Dear CSL Community:

It is with great pleasure that I announce the long awaited return of Staci (Lederman) Hiller to CSL as our 2014 Hachshara Director!  Staci has spent many summers at CSL in a variety of roles and last summer saw her oldest daughter became a CSL camper for the first time in Onondaga.  Staci’s passion and experience  will bring a fresh perspective to Camp this summer.

Staci’s life as a CSL staff member staff member started back in 1993 when she was a cabin counselor.  In 1996 and 1997, Staci served as our Seneca Unit Head before becoming the Assistant Program Director in 1998.  In 1999 and 2000 Staci was Camp’s Program Director. While she was at Camp (and in her time since) Staci obtained a BS degree from the University of Connecticut and a MS degree from the University of Rochester.  Staci taught Biology and Earth Science for the Livonia Central Schools for several years.

Staci is a native of Rochester, NY and currently resides in Brighton with her husband and two daughters. Staci has been serving as CSL’s Development Associate since September.

Her excitement about her return to CSL is clear,

“I am excited to spend this summer being inspired by young people who love camp.  I know we will have a lot to learn from each other.  I am looking forwards to helping create an amazing Hachshara program that will develop excellent staff members who will lead CSL in the future"

I hope you’re as excited as I am to have Staci with us this summer!

All the Best,
Aaron Cantor, Director
