Stories With Seneca

Rain doesn't stop Seneca! It's been raining ever since we woke up this morning, but it hasn't stopped us. We started the morning with all of Seneca at Judaica preparing for Seneca Shabbat this upcoming Friday.

We decided on the theme "don't judge a book by it's cover" because we thought it was very relevant to not only Senecans, but the camp community as a whole. The girls worked on various speeches, dances, skits, and songs to perform on Friday at the service. It was so productive and so great to see all the girls working together!!

Senecans went through 2nd and 3rd periods, and we finished the day with SSL tryouts at the O-Field. There is so much talent in this village and I can't wait to see what the girls bring to the soccer field!

I now find myself sitting in my bunk surrounded by singing and dancing 14-year-olds. All the girls are raving about their first full day of CSL 2013, and we are all sooooo excited to continue getting after it -- even through the rain!!
