Hi my name is Lauren and I'm in the bunk s-3. My counselors are Andrea, Ally, and Sophie. It's the second day of camp, but the first full day. Our first period of the summer was Judaica. The Judaica head specialist is David Zarkowsky. Since seneca is leading the first shabbat, we learned our theme and started writing skits, speeches, and songs. My friends and I wrote a skit that we will perform for the whole camp on friday night. After Judaica we went to the pool. Since we are in middle seneca we don't have to do swim lessons anymore. Instead we did Zumba with pool noodles along with We Can't Stop by Miley Cyrus (the clean version). Jilli Underberg filmed it and put it up for everyone to see. It was so much fun! After that we had free swim and we took pictures with an underwater camera! For lunch we had grilled cheese, which is my favorite meal at camp. We also had our first major cheer-off with Mohawk. After lunch we hung out with the Tiyulim staff, played games, and learned about our upcoming campout. Our last period of the day was SSL (Seneca Soccer League). We had tryouts today. Now we're showering and getting ready for the evening program, which is always a surprise! The rain can't stop us!!!! I can't wait for what's to come.
