This past July session has been an unforgettable one. The Onondagans grew and matured into a cohesive unit, while also becoming independent and confident girls. The memories range from big moments, like fight song and our campouts, to little moments like cheering in the dining hall and having swim parties down at the waterfront. Big or small, all of these moments were just as meaningful to our village. Bonds were created between the girls that will last a lifetime, and the staff couldn’t have asked for a better group of girls. They kept us on our toes, and always ran with whatever tasks and goals we set in front of them. The oldest Onondagans did a fantastic job in leading the village, and it was always amazing to see how the oldest and middle girls befriended and became role models tothe youngest girls.
Next session is just around the corner, and the staff and myself could not be more excited. We have 46 new Onondagans coming in August, and two returning ones from July. The session will be different from July, but equally incredible. A lot of exciting events and activities are already being planned, and we know the girls are just going to love it. Each day at CSL is special and one to be cherished, and we know our Onondagans next session will not let a day go to waste just as our girls this past session exemplified. 72 hours until the session begins – so get excited!!!!!
