This was a special morning in Drama for M3; since they were one of the oldest two bunks in camp today, some shennanigans were in order. As they already had watermelons painted on their chests, they chose to choreograph and rehearse the Watermelon Song and perform it all around camp. I didn’t know M3 had so many good dancers- they came up with most of the choreography themselves. They later performed the dance at dinner in front of everyone in the dining hall.
M1, 04 and C2 did the SPC (set-prop-costume) activity and came up with stellar mini-plays. Their performances were hilarious and the campers continue to go all-out in their acting. Each of the bunks earned several rounds of ‘Bus Stop’ at the end of their drama period (if you don’t know what that game is yet, ask any camper.)
At the risk of giving too much away, Glee Club and Sound and Stomp hobby groups have been collaborating on an original medley of some of the campers’ favorite 2013 songs. Stay updated- you’ll want to see it.
