Just 4 more weeks and I’ll be leading that cheer with over
400 campers and staff screaming it out at the top of their lungs! We are all ready to swing into
action. The countdown is on!
Personally this will be my 21st summer as
co-Director or Director of Camp Seneca Lake. That’s on top of 12 previous years as Director of a camp I
owned in the Adirondacks, and an additional 10 years as a camp staff member at
that camp. My whole life has
revolved around kids (did I
mention my 37 years teaching middle school science?) and college age camp
staff. That’s that kind of working
environment that keeps one feeling young and involved.
June is my busiest month of the year due to dealing with all
sorts of last minute details as well as training our staff for the summer
ahead. Aaron Cantor and I have
worked together all year to get to this point...let the show begin!
