Every day we creep just a bit closer to the arrival of our
campers. We relish this every bit
as much as the campers do. The work we've been doing in preparation, from September through June,
will begin to pay off as soon as the first camper makes their way down Camp Road. Our blog is approaching and will surpass
100,000 page views very soon. It's
in the spirit of numbers that I wanted to share a few more significant numbers
from this past winter/spring.
Here’s just a glimpse into our “off-season”
200 plus applicants and interviews for Camp jobs
134 staff hired
5,127 emails sent and received from staff (as of today)
10,030 total training hours
I often like to use the analogy that hiring for the summer
is like putting together a puzzle.
You first need spread all the pieces out to see what you have
(interviews). Next, putting
together the outside/borders is a must (Senior Staff). And of course the puzzle isn’t anything
without the picture/design (Counselors and Specialists).
But there is one more important step. Putting that final piece into the puzzle
to fully enjoy its completion.
Your children (our campers) are the final piece to the CSL 2013 puzzle
and we couldn’t be more excited (and ready) to complete our puzzle!
