What's good LIT?
Finally the LIT's are back. An interesting concept, as they were only gone for a few days, yet for the staff and I it was a lifetime. This group of young adults have entrenched themselves into our lives so deeply that even a few days apart is too long. They have changed our lives for the better, even though we are meant to be helping them develop as leaders. They have shown such personal growth over the last month that all of camp has come to realize how gifted this group is. The days off didn't phase them; they have stepped straight back into their leadership roles so thoroughly that the new campers already see them as staff. We lead cheers, quiet camp down, help organize bunks, and learn new leadership techniques. The LIT's will one day be the leaders of camp, for now they are it's heart and soul.
