Hi everyone!
The big O is finishing up another great day at camp. They spent the morning going to activities by bunk, then came back together for waterfront as a village.
This morning 0-1 and 0-2 spend first period at A&C making memory books. At the end of the summer they will be able to use these to write eachother messages and have eachothers contact information. They got really creative using filter paper, dye and oil pastels to decorate it in whatever way they wanted.
O-3 went to athletics where they spent the period playing kickball with C-1. It was a tough game but they ended in a tie followed by a cheer off. After athletics they went to drama where they played games like bus stop and hitchhiker. During all of these games the girls let there silly sides out and love working together.
O-4 spent the morning at drama and then athletics. They played many of the same games that O-3 played the period before. Now the girls know tons of different games to play together during therecfree time. After drama they ran over to athletics where they worked up a good appetite with all of there hard work! All of onondaga could not have been more excited for the chicken nuggets lunch.
The afternoon was spent at the waterfront. Some of the older field had the opportunity to go on super sail. Super sail is a full 2 period sailing trip. O-4 had an amazing time soaking up the bright sun and learning the ropes of the sail boat. Many of the other girls got the opportunity to do things such as kayaking, canoeing, skiing and so much more! Mallory Smith (0-3 counselor) even challenged her girls to a canoe race. The girls worked hard and beat there counselor. They will be celebrating all throughout flashlight time tonight!
The evening program could not have been anymore exciting for onondaga and cayuga. They were broken up into teams and spent the night creating flawless forts with the given supplies. After, they ambushed eachothers forts with balls to see who's fort was truly the strongest. In the end, red teams fort held strong but as a true blue member I believe it was blue that reigned supreme.
Another stellar night at csl. The sun is setting and there is nothing but smiles in onondaga tonight. We could not have asked for a more awesome group of girls.
