My name is Evan Schwartz, and I am an activity counselor at the pool for Middle Cayuga. Today was a very exciting day for the pool staff because Tuscarora visited for first and second period to work on Triathlon training. The campers are extremely devoted to improving their swimming abilities which is unbelievably admirable because many of them claim to be "bad swimmers". I was so impressed because, with a little assistance and some stroke pointers, the kids had improved tenfold since the beginning of the period.
Then, after lunch, we were visited by Cayuga who got to play the Pirate Penny Game where we threw 25 dollars worth of pennies in the pool and had the campers dive for treasure at the bottom of the pool.
It's now fourth period and Tusc is back for a more relaxing period at the pool. Thanks for reading!
