Today at the Waterfront we had all of Onondaga come down for some fun in the sun! All 6 bunks rotated through sailing, waterskiing, canoeing, kayaking, party boating, and super sail! The super sailors had an especially great time because of the steady direction and speed of the wind. Our super sail period is new as of last year. The only staff members on the boat are Waterfront staff members and campers are the only people actually skippering and crewing the boat. Since the campers are doing all of the work, they learn a lot by experience and can translate that experience onto our smaller boats during normal sail periods. Even younger villages like Cayuga and Onondaga sail their own boats and the double period makes for great conversation!
