Hello and greetings to all. My name is Matt Jevotovsky and I am the 2012 speedball hobby group leader. This is my 12th summer at csl and 7th as a speedball staff member. For the next four weeks, the 17 junior warriors (campers) will be trained, challenged and pushed beyond the limits of our home, the O-field. With Independence Day on our minds, speedball hobby group opened the summer of 2012 with great passion and a desire for respect on the field. Nothing could slow down the game's quick pace, not even the heat. Some faces from summers past remain, yet it was the strong performance of our youngest warriors which set the tone of competition early in the afternoon. The bar has been raised high with expectations through the roof. This group of warriors is up to the challenge, however, and is prepared to fight till the end (or at least to the beginning of general swim). The first battle of the summer has been scored as a victory for the good guys.
