The Senecan Scribe

Last night the Senecan ladies united as a village during our "big sister, middle sister, little sister" program. Each Senecan was placed into a "family" consisting of an oldest Senecan, a middle Senecan, and a youngest Senecan. However, different from past years, the element of surprise in finding out the different family members was a key component to the program. While the oldest girls were placed around camp in various locations writing letters of wisdom to their younger sisters, the youngest girls were blindfolded and led to their middle sisters by following a piece of string. Once the pair was united, they then set off on a scavenger hunt, only to be welcomed by their oldest sisters at the final location. Together, each family presented a creative skit about their family to the rest of the village. The oldest girls are proudly taking on the responsibility of becoming mentors to their younger sisters and creating a bond that will help to define what Seneca means to younger sisters. We can't wait to see these friendships blossom throughout the summer!
