Hello everyone
Today was quite the day and boy oh boy was it hot. Youngest and middle Mohawk finished up their campout with some friendly competitions. At first the different tents were challenged to see who could pack up all there stuff and dissemble their tent the fastest. The fastest group got some chocolate as a reward. next, we played ninja and a couple rounds of tiyulim jeopardy. It was astonishing how much the campers had actually learned about geology and nature from the tiyulim staff. Before heading back to camp, we stopped for a quick lunch and swim in Cayuga lake.
When we arrived back at camp we helped the tiyulim staff unpack the equipment then headed back to the village to unpack or stuff and take some showers. M1 M2 M3 had the rest of third and fourth period off to rest. Everyone reconvened for a smoldering hot general swim and then hurried back to shower for Shabbat.
Everyone put on their finest clothes for services and sat down for a fancy dinner. Looks like we are kicking off the first Shabbat with a bang.
