Dear families,
Yesterday was shabbat and it started similar to other shabbats with breakfast in the village at nine o'clock. The Mohican men were patient as they waited in line for the bagels and cereal. After everyone was fed, brother Jevotovsky led the Mohicans in a fight song session. The men have worked hard in preparation of the fight just a few weeks away. After everyone was fed we prepared for services. Although services began as per usual, unfortunately, they were cut short due to inclement weather. The Mohicans were not discouraged. They took this time to clean the cabins before having our usual discussion periods.
Youngest Mohawk discussed various types of synagouges around the world. Middle took this time to discuss different types of being jewish.
Later, Mohawk went to lunch and ate some delicious cold cuts. After a much needed extended rest hour, filled with games and cards, the campers had shabbat choice and the majority went to the athletics or the pool. Before dinner we worked on fight song, yet again, and afterwards, everyone went to hobbies. Mohawk is on a roll.
Best,
