This is Jon Shapiro, c-1 photography activity counselor. Today the major event in Cayuga was the CHL championships. The championship game was between the Compton Money Shakers and Harrisburg Hoedown Throw Down. In an intense floor hockey match, the Harrisburg Hoedown Throw Down beat the Compton Money Shakers 7-4.
In the afternoon, there was a great hobby culmination, but was unfortunately stormed out about three quarters of the way through. It was great to see all the kids showcase their hard work though! At night, we had a very nice hobby culmination banquet and many cayugans got some awesome awards! We then watched the movies for the cartooning hobby group, the pit cooking video and the camp play. All were awesome and the cayugan participation was incredible! I want to point out that Noah Bobrow did an awesome job with his cartoons too! Tonight we are pranking Onandoga by taking their tables out of the dining hall and making a "c" out of the tables. We are also writing with cups of water on the floor "Cayuga."
