The Seneca Spiel

This update is coming to you from Sene-hawk's Inaugural Dance Marathon! The kids have been shakin' their groove things since 1pm this afternoon and they're going strong. Each hour has been DJed by a different staff member, each hour with a different theme: Around The World with Shayna, Top 40 with Rebecca, 90s music with Lauren and Square Dancing with Justin. Still to come is 60s-80s music and Techno Hour with DJ Gardy of Tuscarora. It's been pretty hot here in the O-Rec so the kids have been making shifts up to the pool to cool off. We had an on-site cookout to keep the energy up while keeping the party going. "It's a great bonding experience and we want to dance all night!" says S-5 camper, Caroline Blanck. Right now, the kids are enjoying some classic Bar Mitzvah games like Coke and Pepsi and Freeze Dance.

Look for another update before the end of the marathon, 11pm. Good thing these kids brought their dancing shoes to camp!
