Dear Cayuga families,
After the most intense and elaborate color war to date, the Cayugans found a way to put their teams behind them and come back together as a unified village. The day began with a late sleep in, followed by a quick breakfast with the remaining color war visitors. The campers then went back to the village to clean up the cabins and the grounds; the village instantly had a glow reminding me of first day cleanliness.
After cleanup, the campers went to hobbies where they participated in actives such as fishing, archery and tennis.
Next came lunch followed by a much needed rest hour. C-2 and C-4 then went to Israel for third period while C-3 and C-5 went to the pool. For fourth period, the village had CHL. Andrew Robinson hit a game winner in overtime just to name one of the major highlights.
Tonight was Shabbat and the Cayugans all had a spectacular night!
For now,
Alec Jacobson
