The Seneca Spiel
Watching my ten campers rush around our cabin preparing for friday night services, I took a moment to think about CSL shabbat. There is something special about the time spent in the fire circle with friends and family, listening to campers and staff share their thoughts, feelings, and goals. The sense of community, voices praying and singing camp songs together against the backdrop of the beautiful sunset on Seneca Lake is awe inspiring. It is truly unique, something I find only here at CSL with my 400 member camp family.
