Today, as the campers' rest hour came to a close, the tradition began. Hobbies started today at Camp Seneca Lake. Onondagans and Cayugans joined together in team work in Junior Sports Zone led by Mike Patalano, Lisa Schwartz, Ari Kramer, Aaron Scheff, and me- Gaby Cordaro. This hobby is for younger campers to experience wacky sports that don't have the average rules one would think. The day started off with Philadelphia Kick Ball, Two Ball Soccer, and Two Hand Touch Football. The competition was fierce and hotter than the July sun. By the end of the two hour period, the M-Field was scattered with water bottles and tired out campers. We gathered in a circle and discussed the values of teamwork as cleansing rain began to sprinkle, ending the scorching heat. New games will challenge the campers in the weeks to come!
