We are almost a week into the August session and it has been amazing so far! Looking ahead at the next few weeks there is so much for the campers and staff of Onondaga to be excited for!
Yesterday morning was the big sister little sister program with Tusc. The Tusc campers broke the program by waking up the Onondagans in the morning. The girls immediately jumped out of bed and were so excited to finally meet their big sisters. Each camper had to create costumes made from garbage bags for a fashion show. The groups of sisters then had to walk the runway showing off their costumes to the rest of the girls in the O-rec. The morning was so fun and the Onondagans are all looking forward to the next time they get to hang out with their big sisters!
We end the busy first week with everyone's favorite camp tradition, Shabbat services. Onondaga is leading the service along with Seneca and we can't wait to show the CSL community all the hard work we have put in to prepare for the service tonight!
