Stories With Seneca

Sunday night was bunk night for Mohawk and Seneca! For S-1, bunk night consisted of blindfolding ourselves, getting into a line, and then walking down to the waterfront. This was called a "trust walk," because we completely relied on our counselor, Layna, for directions. Layna was super funny because she would pretend she was a drill Sargent, so everything had to be said in "yes ma'am" or "no ma'am" form.

Once we got down to the a waterfront, Layna arranged us in a circle and laid down plates, forks, and spoons in the middle. Still blindfolded, we had to crawl around trying to find as many materials as possible. Then, we changed into our bathing suits and waded in the lake hunting for as much seaweed as possible.

Once each time had a huge mound of seaweed, we started to dress one of our teammates in a seaweed "outfit." We could also use the materials to help the outfit stick onto our bodies, or to make accessories.

It was one of best and funniest bunk nights I've ever had at CSL!
