The most important aspect of these mass sporting games is clearly inclusiveness. Every camper is included if they wish to be, and what makes it even more special is that the campers do this independently. Of course, there are pockets of kids who do not always enjoy sports as much as the others. However, these campers are encouraged to try new activities by their staff and peers, and almost always enjoy hanging with their village-mates. I can confidently say that I have seen all forty-six campers playing some kind of sport at one time or another; and all doing it with a smile reaching from ear to ear..
It doesn't stop at the campers though; the staff have as much fun as they do. I have played all of the aforementioned sports with campers this session and have thoroughly enjoyed playing all of them. For the past two days I have taken campers to the M-field during rest hour to play baseball. Some of them are even better players than I am! It's truly great how they keep us on our feet all day in an attempt to spend some of their endless energy. Thank you sports for being a great outlet for this.
