Pine Tree Post: Feels Like Forever

Mass Program was an eccentric experience, but things are back to "normal" at CSL after the organized chaos.

Silent meals are over, I can wear colors other than yellow - a small victory after having just gone thrift shopping- and the camp has been reunited with ties that are even harder to sever than before. The transition back to "normal" camp life has been rather seamless, much like most transitions here at CSL, still we beat on with a pervasive sense of something great having happened a day - which seems like a week- ago.

Campers and staff go to waterfront, swim in the pool, create at arts and crafts, and persevere through the Cayuga Hockey League season with an intrinsic thankfulness for each other and the programmers. Ultimately, we have, as a result of MP and the ensuing days, is the CSL that we know and, within my first two weeks, I have come to love.

Best,
