Stories With Seneca

Crazy to think the campers have only been here for just over 24 hours. So much has already happened, and there is still so much yet to come.

I'm proud to announce that I am working with the youngest Senecans this summer, specifically S-2, and could not be more excited. In the past I have worked with the older girls, so it's a really fun and different experience for me as a staff member. I can't wait to watch these girls grow and mature as they learn the ways of Seneca, and I feel so lucky that I get to welcome them into this wonderful village that we all call home.

Today has been a blur. Wake up was at 7:45, but S-2 was waaay too excited to wait, so they were all up and ready to go at 7:15. As a counselor, I absolutely love to see the excitement and motivation but as a 19 year old girl who values sleep... I plead the fifth.

Anyway, our day started at Athletics, and then we rotated through a Sisterhood period, as well as Drama, Tiyulim, and Israel. The girls have brought so much energy and life to each of these areas, and I'm so happy to see them immersing themselves in the ways of Seneca and putting their all into everything so soon in the summer.

Check back here for more updates - I'm sure there will be plenty.

Sending the entire CSL community lots of Seneca love and obviously some #SenecaSwag,

-Jilli Underberg, S2 Bunk Counselor/Media Representative
