Hey camp people!
It's only the second day of general orientation and I already can't wait for the campers to come. We are planning so much fun stuff, and are really coming together well as a Cayuga staff. I can tell this is going to be a great summer.
In the past year a lot has changed for me. I finished my first year of college, made a lot of new friends, and adapted to being away from home, but it's nice to truly be back at home, here at CSL.
I got a good taste of what dealing with Cayugans will be like again, during a meeting at the park, yesterday across the lake. We got into a bit of a water fight with a couple of kids who decided it was far more necessary for us to be hit by water balloons than meet as a staff, which sound like familiar antics!
Our meetings have gone really well and I'm really excited for what this week has to come, and of course, the rest of the summer.
