My name is Elaina Stone and I am an Onondaga bunk counselor! Last year was my first year as a counselor and I absolutely loved it. Words cannot describe how excited I am for the campers to come tomorrow. Onondaga has a really cute idea planned for the first day. We intend to make them feel as special as each and every one of them are, and I am sure they will love it! This week has been fun and training has been fulfilling. I spent 2 amazing summers in Onondaga making this my 9th summer. Every summer creates new memories that make me smile throughout the year. The Onondagans this year are going to have one of the best summers of their lives.
One of my favorite parts of camp is cheering loud and proud for the Big O. The dining hall has been filled with dancing among staff and I am pumped to dance and cheer with my campers. Camp Seneca Lake is my home and I want it to be the home of the campers too. If only they knew the amazing adventures, possibilities and memories they will encounter this summer. CSL 2014 will be one summer to remember and the Big O will be louder than ever!
