My name is Nicky Sindwani and I didn't know what to expect from Camp Seneca Lake when I arrived here early last week. I can proudly say; however, that after these first few days of orientation I have never been more excited for something to start.
The biggest factor in my quick start is easily getting to know the incredible Mohawk staff and the greater camp staff in general. They welcomed me with open arms and we have already started grinding to make sure the campers have the best summer of their lives. Today, the Mohawk staff and I cleaned up the village for much of the day. We raked, we primed, and we power washed-all in preparation for the incredible spirit and energy that lies five short days from now. After consuming many pizza bagels, we reconvened to start working on all the great programs we have coming up in July.
I never had stepped foot in a summer camp before around a week ago and I am ready.
