Dear CSL Community:
It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Talia Tesler as a Tusc Counselor for the 2014 summer. Talia grew up at CSL from 2000-2007 as the third sister and fourth member (mother also went to camp) of her family to attend. She took time away from camp following her own Senior Camper summer in 2007, returning in 2013 as the Athletics Head Specialist.
Tali grew up in Rochester, New York, graduating from Brighton High School in 2010. She matriculated to SUNY New Paltz and is expected to graduate this coming Spring. A Media Management Major and Film Studies Minor, Tali is also a four year starter on the Lacrosse team at New Paltz. She works in digital media and communication for the Athletic and Wellness centers as well as in business for herself as a DIY arts and crafter.
“I am both excited and honored to return to CSL I 2014 as a Tuscarora counselor. Tuscarora is the heart of CSL and I am eager to revisit the same village that taught me so much seven years ago. At the end of the summer, the Senior Campers will come away with extraordinary relationships, new skills, and an irreplaceable experience that will be with them forever and I am thrilled to be part of it. Tusc 2014, I am looking forward to getting to know you all, get ready for the best summer of your lives!”
The multi-talented Tali will be invaluable to Tusc and camp once again.
