Dear CSL Community:
It is with extreme excitement that I announce the return of Andrea Fenster to CSL for the summer of 2014 as our Israel Specialist! Andrea’s been part of CSL for a long time and we’re grateful to have someone of her caliber to run our updated Israel Program this summer. Andrea’s knowledge and enthusiasm for Israel is a huge bonus for Camp as we look to infuse our homeland more naturally into our Camp program.
At 10 months old in 1995, Andrea was first introduced to CSL through Family Camp, which she attended with her family for 14 years. However, this will be Andrea's 11th summer as an official CSL’er, beginning in 2003, with only a short interlude in 2011 to travel to both Poland and Israel. This will be Andrea’s third summer on staff, having previously been a counselor in the village of Seneca.
Andrea is a native of Rochester and a graduate of Brighton High School. When she isn’t at Camp, Andrea attends American University in Washington, DC as a Law and Society major with a double minor in Sociology and Public Policy and Administration. She works at the Hillel on her campus and has also interned at the Anti-Defamation League.
Andrea’s passion for CSL is clear, "I'm so excited to be returning to camp again, and I am absolutely overjoyed that I have the opportunity to combine two things that I'm passionate about: camp and Israel. It's going to be such a great summer, and I cannot wait to get started!"
I hope you’re as excited as I am to have Andrea with us this summer!
All the Best,
Aaron Cantor, Director
